THE REBELLION
The student section of the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels,
known as The Rebellion, creates a fantastic game-day
atmosphere during home games. It is one of the most
inventive student sections in college basketball.
PREMIER UNLV
One of our longest-standing traditions, Premier UNLV
of昀cially welcomes students to campus at the beginning
of every academic year. This tradition includes free
commemorative t-shirts, fun activities, and special guest
performances. The highlight of the evening – students
gathering together to form the letters U-N-L-V with light
sticks while 昀reworks light up the scene.
FREMONT CANNON
One of college football’s most memorable trophies –
the Fremont Cannon – is awarded to the winner of the
annual rivalry football game. Each year, UNLV battles
the University of Nevada, Reno for the right to paint the
cannon Scarlet and Gray.
HOMECOMING
A time-honored UNLV tradition, Homecoming brings
together students, parents, and alums to celebrate
their Rebel spirit. The week-long celebration honors
our history and includes special events, activities,
and performances.
